C-LARA

An AI collaborates with humans to build a language learning app.

Weekly summary, Apr 11-17 2024

This week, I have made further improvements to the activity tracker and included it in a new C-LARA home page that displays recent activity. I’ve also started uploading legacy LARA content to the UniSA server and fixed some annoying inconsistencies with URLs.

Activity tracker and home page

I have added functionality to make activities in the activity tracker searchable by date, and used this to create a home page that shows recently added content and recently active activities.

It would be good if people could start voting for activities, so that we have a better idea of what to prioritise. As you can see, there is a considerably queue of things waiting to be done!

Legacy LARA content

We now have the new disk space, and I have started uploading content. Again, there’s quite a lot to upload, so please tell me if there’s anything you’d like me to prioritise! I started with the items you can see in the home page screenshot above.

Making URLs consistent

Following suggestions from Cathy and other people, I’ve made a couple of rationalisations:

  • The URL https://c-lara.unisa.edu.au/ now redirects to the C-LARA login page.
  • When you log out, you are now sent back to the login page, so if you want you can immediately log in again.

Workshop

It looks like the Flinders workshop will be July 24-25, but Pauline and Christèle should send out a more detailed update on that.

Next Zoom call

The next call will be at:
