Cleaning up C-LARA (part 2)

Pauline had some useful suggestions about further cleaning up of the C-LARA layout. My replies in italics:

  • Perhaps have a left margin so that the text is not at the extreme left edge of the window.
We have added a left margin of 20px, size can be adjusted further.
  • Bigger default font.
Default font size has been changed to 16px, can again be adjusted further.
  • Since it’s English, capital letters for languages.
Done on content home pages, but we may need to fix it elsewhere.
  • Is there a home page for C-LARA? I thought it was:

https://c-lara.unisa.edu.au but that is “not found”.
    It is in fact https://www.c-lara.org/

Users will (try to) click on C-LARA to go to the home page.
Clicking on the “C-LARA” that appears on the top left now takes you there.

It would also be helpful for “C-LARA” to appear on the page of each project, here, for example:

    https://c-lara.unisa.edu.au/accounts/project/17/#

so that the user can go right to the home page to get info about C-LARA, see a list of projects, etc.
    Should work here too.
  • Also, have you thought about eventually having a logo?
Chat has mocked up three possible candidates. What do people think? We can easily create more if none of them seem right yet.

Logo 1

Logo 2

Logo 3

Keep those suggestions coming!

  1. Hate all of these, generate a lot more, they need to be clean, uniquely recognisable and they should have C-LARA in them.
