Making picture books in C-LARA (part 2)

Things are progressing well with the new picture book functionality which lets you construct a coherent set of images. I have now made five picture book texts of this kind, so far all in English with French glosses. Here are screenshots and links:

Supermodel Lisa Loves Phrasal Verbs (glamourous)

I asked for a glamourous story suitable for teen learners of English which included many examples of phrasal verbs. The full document is here.

The Princess and the Dragon (ethereal)

A cute manga-inspired picture book with an ecological theme, about a brave princess who makes friends with a dragon and saves the forest. The full document is here.

ABC of science-fiction (geeky)

I asked for a 50s-style ABC of science-fiction suitable for low intermediate learners. The full document is here.

Madame Bovary retold (ironic)

I asked for a Disney-inspired retelling of Madame Bovary suitable for five year olds, with a happy ending. As you can see, GPT-4o decided that Flaubert should have included more unicorns. Full text here.

Finley’s Journey to Faith: A Kitten’s Tale of Inspiration (religious)

We noticed that Finley refused to eat pork. I asked for a story suitable for 8-12 year olds and highly respectful towards the Muslim world about a kitten who converts to Islam. Full text here.

You can see obvious mistakes, but it’s starting to look promising. Suggestions and comments very welcome!
